Betting Points To Price Progression At BoyleSports World Grand Prix

Gerwyn Price is unsurprisingly the hottest favourite on the third night of darts action at the Morningside Arena in Leicester as he seeks to progress to the quarter-finals of the BoyleSports World Grand Prix.

The defending champion recorded a stunning 100.82 average in his straight sets first round victory over Michael Smith and will start a massive odds-on shot at 1/5 against Mervyn King, who faces odds of 10/3 to avoid a second round exit for the second successive year.

It’s a different story in the opening match of the second round with Ryan Searle and Luke Humphries inseparable at 10/11 apiece, while 8/15 shot James Wade is winning the betting battle with 6/4 underdog Stephen Bunting.

Dave Chisnall, who is an odds-on favourite to overcome Ross Smith in the final match on Tuesday, features alongside Gerwyn Price in the BoyleSports ‘Full House’ double, with the pair now available at 12/1 from 9/1 to win their matches with the most 180s and highest checkout.

It’s also a 10/1 shot that the crowd are treated to a 9-darter on the third night after Michael van Gerwen came within a whisker of taking one out with a 170 finish following eight perfect darts at the start of his second set against eventual winner Danny Noppert on Monday.
