Searle Odds-on To Dodge Bullet At BoyleSports World Grand Prix

Ryan Searle will exact revenge on Stephen Bunting for his PDC World Championship defeat if the betting is anything to go by as they renew rivalries tonight at the BoyleSports World Grand Prix.

A thrilling fourth round clash between the pair at the Alexandra Palace at the end of last year went the way of Bunting following a tense final leg decider, but the Bullet will start their quarter-final in Leicester as the 6/5 underdog.

Searle is chalked up at 4/6 to set up a semi-final date with either Gerwyn Price or Dave Chisnall.

Price is an odds-on shot at 1/3 to be lying in wait for the winner of the all-English clash as he takes on Chisnall (9/4) in the third of four quarter-finals on Thursday, while Danny Noppert and Jonny Clayton are also odds-on at 4/7 and 8/15 respectively to book semi-final berths at the expense of Ian White and Krzysztof Ratajski.

Both Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton hit a ‘Full House’ in their previous matches by winning with the most 180s and highest checkout, and the duo are available at 16/1 to do so again tonight and keep alive the prospect of an all-Welsh final in the process.
