Euros 2024 Outright Betting

Germany 5/1

The early tournament favourites according to the latest Euro 2024 odds are Germany who are the only side to have already qualified as they are the hosts and were knocked out by a 2-0 loss to England in 2020. Germany has somewhat been through a period of transition recently since Hansai Flick took over in May 2021 from Joachim Löw who had been in charge from 2005-2021.

Flick started well when a draw on the 4th of June 2022 vs Italy meant he was only the third coach to stay undefeated in his first ten matches, but they were then eliminated at the 2022 World Cup Group Stages. Germany hasn’t won the Euros since 1996 but with young talents like Moukoko (18), Musiala (20) and Adeyemi (21) all maturing Germany could still be value at 5/1.

France 11/2

Second favourites in the Euro 2024 odds are France who have been fluttering around the top of the International discussion for years in what many would argue has been a golden period in French football. Having been runners-up in the tournament in 2016 they won the World Cup in 2018 and were most recently runners-up in 2022.

The only real blot in their form was at Euro 2020 where they got knocked out by Switzerland in the Round of 16 on penalties. France has a qualifying group which includes The Netherlands, Greece, Gibraltar and most interestingly for us Ireland!

What’s clear is Didier Deschamps since taking charge in 2012 has shown to have the acumen and tactical prowess to be successful at the international level. With talents like Mbappé (24), Camavinga (20) and Tchouaméni (23), France at 11/2 are certainly contenders.

England 6/1

England for all their critics and cynics has not been this consistent on the international stage in some time, perhaps ever. Following a fourth-place finish at the 2018 World Cup that was followed by Euro 2020 Runners-Up finish and most recently a Quarter-Final appearance at the 2022 World Cup.

The English qualifying group includes Italy, Ukraine, North Macedonia and Malta. Gareth Southgate who has been in charge of England since 2016 will fancy their chances of qualification for Euro 2024 and finally winning the tournament the following summer, especially with the togetherness he has brought to the squad.

This English generation has some bonafide superstars Bellingham (19), Foden (22) and Rashford (25) meaning they could be contenders for the Euros 2024 at odds of 6/1.

Spain 7/1

After a period of dominance on the international stage from 2008-2012 where they won the 2008 Euros, 2010 World Cup and 2012 Euros Spain has gone through a rut in recent years which was only natural after the end of a golden generation.

Luis de la Fuente was appointed as head coach on the 8th of December after the country’s round-of-16 penalty shootout defeat to Morocco at the World Cup. His first task as manager will be to navigate a qualifying group with Cyprus, Georgia, Norway and our neighbours Scotland.

The tools are there for another great side though with the likes of Gavi (18), Pedri (20) and Fati (20) Spain could return to success at Euro 2024 at 7/1.

Italy 9/1

The defending champions and another interesting case, following failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup they would go on to win the Euro 2020 but would then fail to qualify for the 2022 World Cup. Is there a pattern emerging for Italy who has been managed by Mancini since 2018?

Is a victory at Euro 2024 inevitable? Well first Italy will need to put their qualification woes behind them and get out of a group which includes England, Ukraine, North Macedonia and Malta.

Donnarumma (24) and Barella (26) will be pivotal to any chance of success along with young Leeds United forward Gnonto (19) who looks a real talent. Italy are 9/1 to win the 2024 Euros.
