Big Sam Heading To The Palace

Crystal Palace sacked manager Alan Pardew on Thursday and we can report that punters cannot get enough of former England manager Sam Allardyce to take over at Selhurst Park.

Initially installed as the 4/5 favourite, Big Sam was cut into 4/9 within minutes of the news breaking.

After another 30 minutes he was as short as 1/5 to succeed Pardew.

Gary Rowett remains the second favourite at 5/1 with Chris Coleman next in the betting at 8/1. Roy Hodgson is priced at 12/1 whilst Harry Redknapp is currently priced at 16/1.

It now looks like Allardyce has already been in talks with The Eagles as punters got stuck into him at short prices and we continue to see the support coming in at 1/5. Judging by the interest in Big Sam he may well be in charge for their game against Watford on December 26th.
