Coventry City Being Backed To Win BoyleSports Derby vs Birmingham City

Coventry City are being well backed to bolster a strong home record in the Championship this season when they host Birmingham City at the CBS Arena on Tuesday evening.

Nobody in the division can better Coventry City’s haul of 22 points at home this season and Mark Robins’ side go into the Midlands derby in fifth place, just one point adrift of West Bromwich Albion in third.

BoyleSports have now cut them into 5/6 from even money to get back to winning ways after a point on the road against Sheffield United at the weekend, with Matt Godden expected to make a return to the starting line-up as a 9/2 shot from 5/1 to open the scoring.

Coventry, however, will have to break a lengthy run of draws against the Blues as the last six head-to-head meetings between the sides have ended level after 90 minutes.

Another draw has been cut into 5/2 from 11/4, with Birmingham eased out to 16/5 from 11/4 in the betting to break their run of two consecutive defeats with a win.

There has been a prolific recent history of draws in this fixture, but if there is to be a winner it’s Coventry who are now odds-on at 5/6 from even money to boost their promotion credentials with all three points.
