Defeat Leaves Liverpool In Tough Champions League Spot

Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat to Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday saw them edged out to second in Group C as the Blues took over the top spot.

Things got off to a rocky start for the Reds after Naby Keita went off injured and it continued to go downhill from there. However the new signing won’t be out for long and may even be back for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Despite an unbeaten run in the Premier League, it’s a different story for Jurgen Klopp’s men in the Champions League as they drift out to 8/1 from 7/1. The win for Napoli saw them shorten into 50/1 from 80/1.

Tottenham also suffered a defeat after succumbing 4-2 to Barcelona and have been eased out to 66/1 from 40/1 after picking up no points from the first two group games.

Juventus are now 6/1 from 7/1 after their 3-0 win over Young Boys makes it two from two in the group stages. Manchester United’s scoreless draw with Valencia saw them drift out to 28/1 from 25/1. Real Madrid moved out to 9/1 from 7/1 after a bad defeat midweek to CSKA Moscow.
