Denmark Favourites To Break Irish Hearts

The Republic of Ireland have been drawn against Denmark in Tuesday’s World Cup Play-Off draw.

Many Irish fans are delighted with the result of the draw, however the odds don’t quite match their elation with Denmark currently 4/6 to qualify for the World Cup in Russia next summer.

Martin O’Neill’s men are priced at 11/10 to book their spot in the World Cup following the two crucial legs in November.

The Boys In Green travel to Copenhagen for the first leg on Saturday 11th November and are 10/3 to cause an upset at Parken Stadium. Hosts Denmark are 10/11 to claim the first leg with the draw priced at 9/4.

Northern Ireland were drawn against Switzerland and are available at 15/8 to secure qualification, whilst Switzerland are 4/11.
