Bayer Leverkusen

RB Salzburg

Speaking of RB Salzburg, the Austrian giants have continued their full-court press style of football instilled by Schmidt under new coach, Adolf Hutter.

The Red Bull-owned side are effectively the PSG/Bayern/Man City/Chelsea of Austrian football with most of their squad a level above most other players in the league. As a result, their games involve lots of goals, beating lots of handicaps.

In their first 10 league games, 44 goals have been scored at an average of a huge 4.4 a game. In those 10 games, they’ve scored 35 goals alone, averaging 3.5 a game. They are a veritable goldmine.

Manchester United

It may seem an obvious one but under Louis Van Gaal, with a defence that would make a retired Phil Babb look world class, there was only ever going to be one outcome: goals.

Outrageously, the Dutchmen and the United board failed to address their defensive issues and instead, continued to add world class attacker after world class attacker.

In just 6 games, there has been 23 goals scored at an average of 3.8 a game and this trend will continue due to the combination of their defensive frailties and attacking talents.

Borussia Dortmund

No one has to tell you to look to Jurgen Klopp’s men for goals but the difference this season is the German giants are suffering badly with injuries and their games so far are reflecting that.

In just six games involving the Westfalenstadion club, there has been 20 goals scored at an average of 3.3 a game and their opponents are registering nearly 2 goals a game against them, too.
