Harry Kane Now Odds On For Spurs Stay

England striker Harry Kane is now an odds-on shot to stay at Tottenham Hotspur despite saying before the end of last season that he wanted a fresh challenge.

The wantaway striker is an 11/2 favourite to finish Euro 2020 as the top tournament goalscorer,

but his wish to have his future sorted before England’s first match against Croatia on Sunday looks unlikely, with no major developments now expected until after the tournament.

Kane had been backed down to 8/11 to move to Manchester City during this summer’s transfer window, but the chances of Pep Guardiola adding the Spurs man to his ranks have now been eased back out to 11/8. The money instead is coming for a stay at Tottenham, which has now gone odds-on at 4/5 from 6/4 over the past 48 hours.

Champions League winners Chelsea were 3/1 shots to sign Kane before the transfer window closes but are now at 9/2, while the prospect of a transfer to Manchester United has drifted to 11/2 from 4/1.
