Liverpool’s Price Slashed To Miss Out On Top Four

Punters have turned their backs on Liverpool’s title chances and are now even beginning to doubt their top four credentials following Brighton’s victory at Anfield on Wednesday evening.

The Reds had recorded back-to-back victories on the road to thrust themselves back into contention but their 1-0 defeat on Wednesday was their third consecutive match on home soil without scoring.

Now Liverpool’s inconsistent form has seen their odds on missing out on a top four spot slashed in half from 6/1 to 3/1,

…with West Ham United, Everton, Tottenham and Chelsea all in hot pursuit.

West Ham’s 3-1 victory at Villa Park has seen David Moyes’ side shorten into 8/1 from 12/1 to finish the season inside the Champions League places, while Everton have also been backed into 13/2 from 8/1 as they closed to within four points of their Merseyside rivals with two games in hand following a 2-1 win against Leeds at Elland Road.

The chances of Jurgen Klopp’s side retaining their Premier League title have also been pushed all the way out to an all-time high of 10/1 from 5/1, with Manchester United now rated Manchester City’s biggest dangers as 8/1 second favourites.
