Manchester City Shorten For Fa Cup as Historic Quadruple Remains In Sight

Brighton secured their spot in their first ever FA Cup semi-finals in dramatic fashion with a penalty shootout victory over Millwall on Sunday.

Chris Hughton’s side will now face Manchester City who remain on course for a historic quadruple after they booked their spot in the semi-finals on Saturday. Brighton have shortened in from 18/1 off the back of their win but remain outsiders for their first FA Cup victory at 16/1.

City came back from the dead on Saturday against Swansea, coming from 2-0 down to defeat the Championship side 3-2 and are firm favourites to tick off the FA Cup from their quadruple quest at 1/3, having been 4/5 before the weekend’s action.

Their odds to pull off all four titles, Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League Carabao Cup, have been slashed from 6/1 to 7/2 as a result of the FA Cup draw.

Wolves were drawn against Watford (10/1) in the semi-finals as both sides won their respective clashes on Saturday to progress to the next round. Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are now available as 4/1 second favourites after shortening in from 9/1 off the back of their shock 2-1 defeat of Manchester United.
