Moyes Favourite For Newcastle Job

With speculation that Newcastle United are set to sack Steve McClaren after their 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth, we’ve priced up a market on who will take over at St James’ Park.

We’ve installed former Manchester United manager, David Moyes as the 15/8 favourite to be the next permanent manager at St James’ Park and make a return to the Premier League.

Former Leicester City manager, Nigel Pearson, is next in the betting at 9/4. Fresh from his engagement to his 33-year-old girlfriend, former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers may well be a contender and our traders are keen to keep him on side at 9/2 to take up the role when it becomes available.

Rafa Benitez is 5/1 to return to the Premier League whilst Harry Redknapp is on offer at 12/1. Former Chelsea manager, Roberto Di Matteo, is currently priced at 18/1 to take over at St James’ Park whilst outsiders include Tim Sherwood at 25/1 and Paolo Di Canio at 100/1.
