Everton vs Chelsea

“Everton were a tough team for Liverpool to break down, they were organised better and showed a real determined spirit to fight, something that has been lacking for some time.”

“Maybe that’s because it was a derby and they raised their game, but they have to keep it consistent now, they will go down if they don’t.”

“Chelsea will be wondering how they didn’t come away with more from Old Trafford so it will be an intriguing battle, but I think they can get the win at Goodison. They have the second best away record in the league with only Manchester City faring better.”

“It’ll be five years to the day since the last time Chelsea won at Goodison Park, but it’s a different Chelsea this time, and a very different Everton.”

Tottenham v Leicester

“There is no room for error now for Tottenham and they’re coming up short at the wrong time, just as Arsenal are coming good at the right time.”

“They didn’t have a single shot on target in the two games against Brighton and Brentford and Harry Kane hasn’t had a shot on target in four games.”

“Kane’s form is a huge issue for Tottenham and that’s the biggest problem Antonio Conte has, they need to find their shooting boots again.

“They do need to go into the North London Derby with a small enough gap to be able to overtake Arsenal and they always have a game in them where they can turn the corner.”

“They might fare better against Leicester who have that second leg to come in Europe, so it does point to Spurs getting a much-needed three points.”

West Ham v Arsenal

“West Ham will also have eyes on a second leg in Europe and Arsenal will know that. It’s no wins in three in the league for the Hammers and it’s all down to the distraction of the Europa League.”

“As much as players talk about taking one game at a time, it’s impossible to forget about massive games coming up.”

“It plays into the hands of Arsenal, who are coming good in the race for the top four. They are travelling well too having won six of their last eight away games, so they are showing everything you want in a squad trying to secure Champions League football.”

“I think both teams may score, but Arsenal have turned up the heat at the right time and I fancy them to win this 3-1.”
