Rodriguez 4/1 from 25/1 to be World Cup Top Goalscorer

Following his two goals in Colombia’s 2-0 win over Uruguay in the World Cup Last 16, James Rodriguez is now 4/1 from 25/1 to be crowned the World Cup Top Goalscorer.

Rodriguez now leads the tournament goal scoring having netted five goals for his country…

…but the current favourite is Argentina’s Lionel Messi at 11/5. Messi has already netted 4 goals for Argentina, having played 243 minutes of football in the tournament so far.

Germany’s Thomas Muller has also scored four goals and is priced at 4/1 alongside Rodriguez to be crowned Top Goalscorer whilst Brazil’s Neymar, who is also in the number four club, is priced at 9/2.

France’s Karim Benzema (8/1) and the Netherlands’ Robin Van Persie (9/1) and Arjen Robben (10/1) have all scored three goals and are also contenders with the field at 50/1.

Rodriguez put in a top class performance to net two more goals and help Colombia progress to the last eight on Saturday night and is now a massive challenger to be crowned the World Cup Top Goalscorer.
