Seeley’s Selections – Crystal Palace v Man City

THE final live Premier League game of a bumper Easter programme looks a tricky one to call when the stuttering champions Manchester City are in action in their trip to south east London to take on Crystal Palace.

Many will be put off by BoyleSports offer off 4/6 for Manuel Pellegrini’s side for this one and at those prices I really couldn’t get involved in them either.

City have only won just four times in their last 12 matches and the players look to have downed tools after their elimination from the Champions League by Barcelona.

City have lost their last three away matches as well, but this is a MASSIVE match for their season and a defeat here will end any slim hopes of them retaining their Premier League title, but more importantly it will see them keeping one eye of their shoulders watching the closing pack with a top four finish no certainty.

The positives for the Champions though are too strong to be ignored.

If Pellegrini could hand pick one opponent to play at this crucial time of the season then Palace would be high on his list of candidates.

The Eagles have nothing to play for, they are not going down and they can’t make Europe and add into the mix that City have beating them the last seven times they’ve faced each other however tempting the 9/2 with BoyleSports on a home win looks, it can’t be touched.

Alan Pardew has worked wonders since his appointment as manager at Selhurst Park, but most of his success have been on the road and with just two wins in their last eight Premier League home games, I can’t see them getting a shock win on Monday.

The last four meetings between these two sides have all ended in wins to nil for City and the 19/10 with BoyleSports on that to happen again, well that is a much better bet to get involved in rather than take the odds-on quotes for just a win for the champions.

The Eagles have now gone 11 Premier League matches at Selhurst Park without a clean sheet and I can’t see them keeping City out in this one.

City scored with all three shots on target in the 3-0 success back at the Etihad in December and it may surprise a few here but another clinical 3-0 win for the visitors at 12/1 with BoyleSports, is what I’m predicting again.

Sergio Aguero doesn’t look fit and I’m still not sure about Wilfried Bony in a Man City shirt, despite him scoring his first goal for the champions in his last Premier League start at West Brom.

The main who I’m taking to break the deadlock is David Silva at 15/2 with BoyleSports.

The Spanish midfield maestro is the true quality performer in this match and hopefully he will get the opener inside the opening 20 minutes to land the “Double Bubble” special offer.

BoyleSports will double the odds on any first goalscorer winning selection if your player scores inside the opening 20 minutes in this one and all the Premier League games for the remainder of the season.

Seeley’s Selections
Man City To Win To Nil @ 19/10
Correct Score Man City 3-0 @ 12/1
David Silva First Goalscorer @ 15/2

B Lucky.
