Seeley’s Selections – Estonia v England

Estonia v England

Match Betting

The international break is almost over….Stop the tears for a minute and just think this time next week we have some decent Premier League football to talk about…

I can’t EVER remember a set of international matches less inspiring than the dross we have had to endure over the last few days but fortunately it does get much better, it couldn’t get any worse.

On Sunday night England travel to Estonia as a short-priced 2/9 favourite with Boylesports after a midweek of many short-priced winning jollies. I can’t see any problems for “Woys Boys” but at 2/9 away from home, I couldn’t get heavily involved.
The one market I’am getting stuck into though is England to win “to nil” which is a great price at 20/21 with Boylesports.

The Three Lions haven’t conceded in this qualification campaign yet and I know it’s been against San Marino and Switzerland but they do finally look very solid at the back. They’ve now gone 360 minutes since conceding and I really can’t see the Estonians offering anything of a goal threat. That’s the best bet in this match-up by far.

The two nations have met twice previously and on both occasions they ended in 3-0 victories for England which is 13/2 to happen again on Sunday night. I though, can see this being a lot tighter this time around, it’s all about three points for Hodgson and he doesn’t care who he bores to tears with the performance, it’s all about the result.

I can see England edging this 1-0 with a very professional, boring Hodgson display which looks nice at 6/1 with Boylesports.

The Estonians lost 1-0 to Lithuania in midweek but their home form is solid.
They’ve only lost only once in their last nine games mixing it up with some of the best world football has to offer – Gibraltar, Trindad, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in that recent good home run…. impressive stuff!

They are 10/1 to win here with Boylesports but the best they could really hope for is a draw which is available at 5/1.

Wayne Rooney, looks certain to break Bobby Charlton’s England scoring record and is just seven goals behind it now. He’s 13/5 to open the scoring with Boylesports…not for me.

It’s all about Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck in this market at the moment. He netted against San Marino and is full of confidence with seven goals in his last eight matches. Now he’s playing in his favoured position I really can’t understand why he’s not the favourite. Have some of the 10/3 which is available and REMEMBER, if your losing first goalscorer nets the second goal of the game, Boylesports will refund all losing stakes.

B Lucky!
