Seeley’s Selections – Saturday’s Live Football

TWO live games in the Premier League on Saturday and they couldn’t be further apart in the standard of the two sides but the results could be very, very similar.

Hull v Newcastle
The first match is the Saturday early kick-off between two strugglers of the Premier League when Hull entertain Newcastle at the KC Stadium live on BT Sport.

The BoyleSports odds compilers can’t really split the two teams with the home side rated as the 17/10 but would you really want to be taking those odds on a team that has only won twice in their last 16 matches? I thought not.

Add into the mix that this Tigers’ (what a joke that is) side are decimated by key injuries and they are no value whatsoever to get back to winning ways, but saying that it’s impossible to make a case for the visitors either at 19/10 with BoyleSports.

Newcastle have only won once in their last nine matches and new manager John Carver has been been given the job after three games in charge with NO wins and just one goal….no wonder the natives are restless.

In Hull’s last nine games, eight have resulted in both teams failing to score and an industry best 5/6 with BoyleSports that run looks set to continue.

With no convincing case to be made for either side, it always surprises me that the draw is the best price in games like this and at 9/4 with BoyleSports thats the best way to play on the outcome of the match.

The reason for that is nobody ever backs the draw, make BoyleSports pay in this one.
With hardly any goals expected, two shocking teams and key players injured. I really can’t see this being a classic by any stretch of the imagination and the 13/2 with BoyleSports on no goalscorer is another bet I like.

My advice is put the bets on then go shopping, decorate the spare room or do anything you can to avoid watching the game.

Seeley’s Selections
Draw @ 9/4
No Goalscorer @ 13/2

Chelsea v Man City
The Saturday evening match is the biggest clash of the Premier League this weekend and probably the biggest of the season so far when Chelsea entertain Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

When the top two in the country go head-to-head you would hope that all the best players would be fit and available and in this one the absence of Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas, YaYa Toure and Wilfried Bony are bound to affect the game we will witness.

It’s arguably a much bigger game for the champions and before you go piling into the 11/4 with BoyleSports on the away win you must remember they’ve NEVER won a game away from home when Toure has been missing.

I can see Jose Mourinho setting his stool out on not losing this one and a point here will be a good result for the Premier League favourites and one I can see hime getting.
I really can’t make any case for the visitors as I can see their midfield being over run but their hosts.

Both of these teams arrive here in the worst form of theirs season, both are without a win in their last three games and both suffered shock exits from the FA Cup last week.

I really expect this to be very tight and the best bet in the whole match would be on the match to feature under 2.5 goals which is available at 20/23 with BoyleSports.

The two played out a 1-1 draw at the Ethiad earlier in the season and a repeat scoreline is worth a small wager at 11/2 with BoyleSports.

With so many flair players missing and Sergio Aguero not looking 100 per cent fit , I can see a goal being scored from a much more traditional set-piece rather than a piece of brilliance and John Terry at 20/1 with BoyleSports to grab the opener would be a small wager for me.

JT has scored some very important goals over the years for The Blues’ and this one could take his team a step closer to another Premier League title.

Seeley’s Selections
Under 2.5 goals @ 20/23
Correct score 1-1 @ 11/2
John Terry First Goalscorer @ 20/1

REMEMBER – “DOUBLE BUBBLE” is back this week with the return of the Premier League where BoyleSports will double the odds on any winning first goalscorer which nets the opening goal inside the first 20 minutes.
