Seeley’s Selections – Saturday’s Live Premier League

I don’t know about you lot, but how much have I missed the Premier League? I do enjoy international football, but at the business end of the competition and the likes of Gibraltar, San Marino don’t really do it for me and can do one!

Arsenal v Liverpool, Saturday 12.45pm, Live on BT Sport 1
Firstly, Happy Easter to all you lovely readers and with all the money we’ve made in the last few weeks, I’m hoping you’ve spoilt the kids rotten with Easter Eggs, where’s mine?

Ok, the bumper Premier League football eggstravaganza starts on Saturday and what a way to start with the lunch-time clash at the Emirates between Arsenal and Liverpool.

The BoyleSports odds-compilers are dangling a massive carrot when offering Liverpool for this one at 10/3 and I know you lot can’t miss a bargain, but avoid that at all costs. Brendan Rodgers’ side arrive here with all kinds of injury concerns and with suspensions to Steven Gerrard and Martin Skrtel and with a hammering fresh in the minds at home to Man Utd, I think they are vulnerable.

Liverpool haven’t lost back to back games in the Premier League since November and the bad news for their supporters is they will on Saturday. The Gunners are flying in the Premier League and I’m confident that they will overtake Man City into second in the table.

Arsene Wenger’s side are in great form and have won their last eight at the Emirates and with only one loss in their last 18 home matches against Liverpool, they are well worth taking at the 20/23 available with BoyleSports. I think they will win, but I’m not expecting many goals.

Arsenal have won four of their last five home matches to nil and at 12/5 with BoyleSports, that also looks a nice way to get a better price about the home side.

Liverpool have one of the meanest defences on the road and have kept six consecutive clean sheets away from home in the Premier League and the last time Rodgers’ side conceded on the road was was against Leicester in December.

Arsenal will break that record though, I’m very confident of that, they’ve scored in 32 of their last 33 matches and I’m taking them to win this 2-0 at the 8/1 with BoyleSports.

Olivier Giroud scored the opening goals in his last six starts for the Gunners and the 9/2 on the French man to land the opener for a lucky seventh time is a wager.

REMEMBER “DOUBLE BUBBLE” is back this weekend and if your winning first goalscorer selection scores the opening goal inside the first 20 minutes in ANY Premier League game this weekend BoyleSports will double the odds on your winning selection.

Seeley’s Selections:
Arsenal To Win @ 20/23
Arsenal To Win To Nil @ 12/5
Correct Score: Arsenal 2-0 @ 8/1
Olivier Giroud First Goalscorer @ 9/2 (9/1 Double Bubble)

Chelsea v Stoke, Saturday 5.30pm, Live on Sky Sports 1
Saturday’s evening game between Chelsea and Stoke may not inspire much for the betting public, but first impressions are misleading in this one and this game offers the best bet of the Easter weekend.

Chelsea are the shortest priced favourites on the BoyleSports coupons at 2/7 and if you do like the heavy odds-on, they must be taken in the weekend long-lists. I won’t be putting a penny of my cash on them just to win the game, but they are the only team in all four divisions of English football who haven’t lost a game at home this season and that will continue in this one.

Stoke are 12/1 to get the coupon buster with a win here and that isn’t going to happen at a ground where they never get anything. Stamford Bridge isn’t a happy hunting ground for most teams in the Premier Leagues but it’s been a particularly painful trip from the potteries for Stoke in recent years.

The Potters have lost in nine of their last 10 visits to Chelsea and they’ve failed to score in their last seven trips to west London.

The only way I’m going to get involved in this in on a Chelsea win to nil at a massive 3/4 with BoyleSports, which is not only my banker of the day, but my best bet of the Easter period.

The last seven clashes Chelsea have won to nil at Stamford Bridge and with 16 clean sheets in their 22 home games this season that really is a maximum bet. I don’t think there will be many goals and three of the last four games at Stamford Bridge have ended in just a 1-0 win for the hosts and 9/2 on that scoreline again with BoyleSports is another bet I like.

Diego Costa is an injury doubt and if he is missing, I’m taking Chelsea skipper John Terry to led by example with the opener at 16/1 with BoyleSports and hopefully he gets one inside the opening 20 minutes to land a very tasty double bubble.

B Lucky!

Seeley’s Selections:
Chelsea To Win To Nil @ 3/4
Correct Score: Chelsea 1-0 @ 9/2
John Terry First Goalscorer @ 16/1 (32/1 Double Bubble)
