Seeley’s Selections – Scotland v England Tips

The auld enemy Scotland and England do battle for the first time in Scotland for 15 years when the two clash at Celtic Park on Tuesday evening.

This is a very, very difficult game for Boylesports punters to get stuck into with both coming into the game knowing that their week’s work has already been done with the pair grabbing all important Euro 2016 wins against Republic of Ireland and Slovenia at the weekend.

Both managers are expected to rest key players with Joe Hart and Steven Fletcher already confirmed as no shows, expect a few more to follow.

Woy Hodgson’s England are surprisingly 11/10 favourites with Boylesports and with six wins from their last eight games against their hosts, the layers have been swayed by history.

Some patriotic punters will want to get involved, but on current form…not a chance for me that I would ever invest in this England side for this game. The match on Saturday against Slovenia was soooo boring that half the nation switched over and watched “pointless” and thats exactly what a lot of the England stars will think of this game.

I think it means a lot, lot more to the Scots and although I can’t get involved in the home team at Boylesports 5/1, I can’t see England winning this.

I do however like the 7/10 with Boylesports on the Scotland-Draw (double chance) market and I think Gordon Strachan will want maintain his fantastic record as the nations boss against the English. Strachan has lost just one of his ten games in charge and that was a 2-1 away defeat to world champions Germany and I really think they can hold the Three Lions in this one.

The draw is available at a massive 9/4 with Boylesports and that’s exactly where I will be putting my cash on the outcome of this match. I really think both sides will want to get through this with their reputation in tact and a good unbeaten recent record in healthy shape with some massive Euro 2016 qualifiers ahead.

Scotland’s win at the weekend was the ninth game in their last ten home games where the match has produced under 2.5 goals and in their last four matches against England, three have seen less than 2.5 goals.

At 4/6 with Boylesports, that’s another way to get involved on Tuesday.

How England’s game against Slovenia at Wembley saw four goals scored is a miracle to me and a costly one for me, but I think this will be tight and I’m taking honours to be even in a 1-1 draw at Boylesports’ 5/1.

REMEMBER if your losing first goalscorer selection scores the second goal in this match, Boylesports will give your CASH BACK. It’s hard to look past Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck in that market at 9/2 to add to his two goals at Wembley at the weekend.

Seeley’s Selections:
Scotland-Draw (Double Chance) @ 7/10
Draw @ 9/4
Under 2.5 Goals @ 4/6
Correct Score 1-1 @ 5/1
Danny Welbeck First Goalscorer @ 9/2
