Seeley’s Selections – Sunday’s Live Premier League

Stats

Liverpool v Man United

Match Betting

What a way to start this Super Sunday with the biggest game of the Premier League fixture list with a huge clash between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield.

Liverpool v Man United, Sunday 1:30, Live on Sky Sports 1
These two have played in some massive matches before and this is one of the biggest with a place in the Champions League at stake. Liverpool, after a shaky start are flying, and if they avoid defeat in this one they will match Chelsea’s longest unbeaten run of the season 14 games.

Brendan Rodgers’ side will be full of confidence and they will fancy their chances of avenging their 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford, which was the last time they lost in the Premier League.

The last time the Reds lost at Anfield was back in November against Chelsea and at 11/10 with BoyleSports, I think they will win this and that has to be snapped up fast.

Man Utd are 14/5 for the important win and that will be popular with the BoyleSports punters, in fact these two are always heavily backed teams every week and the lads in Dundalk will be cheering on a draw. Louis Van Gaal’s side produced their best performance of the season last week winning 3-0 at home to Tottenham, but that was really due to the visitors not showing up and I’m expecting this to be a lot, lot different.

Liverpool didn’t play well last week against Swansea, but they got the 1-0 win with a flukey goal from Jordan Henderson and their backers will be keen to know that the Reds haven’t lost a game when Henderson has worn the captains armband.

Henderson is 12/1 with BoyleSports to open the scoring and the England international has been weighing in with a few recently and that’s worth a small play. In the last four matches between these two great rivals, only one team has scored and at even on both teams not to score again, well I’m all over that, as I will be a 1-0 Liverpool win at BoyleSports 13/2.

Seeley’s Selections:
Liverpool To Win @ 11/10
Jordan Henderson First Goalscorer @ 13/1 (24/1 Double Bubble)
Both Teams To Score – No @ Evens
Correct Score: Liverpool 1-0 @ 13/2

Hull v Chelsea, Sunday 4pm, Live on Sky Sports 1
Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd fans will be desperate for Hull to turn Chelsea over on the final game of this weekend’s Premier League, but I’m sorry lads it ain’t happening.

Hull have never beaten Chelsea and that sorry run is not going to start on Sunday afternoon. These two have met 11 times previously and the Tigers are still awaiting their first win and if anybody wants to take BoyleSports’ 7/1 then I suggest you look straight in the mirror and have a long hard word with yourself.

Chelsea, despite a draw last week played very well against Southampton and at 40/85 they will win, but they won’t be carrying a penny of my money. The BoyleSports odds-compilers will point to only four wins in their last 12 matches and I’m sure they will be very happy to accommodate you if you wish to get stuck in the Blues and you will be feeling them if they let you down at the short odds.

I really couldn’t back Jose Mourinho’s men at these prices, but I’m getting well stuck into BoyleSports’ 21/20 on the visitors winning to nil and I make that my NAP of the Premier League this weekend.

Chelsea have played Hull seven times in the Premier League and they’ve won on five occasions and four of those victories were won without conceding and that looks a cracker again here.

Earlier in the season Chelsea won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge and in the two meetings last campaign, both ended up in 2-0 Chelsea victories and another 2-0 win for the visitors at BoyleSports’ 5/1 is also a bet I’m very keen on.

Steve Bruce’s side drew 0-0 at Leicester last week and they could still be playing now and they wouldn’t have scored and that has been the Tigers’ problem all season, they don’t score goals. Hull very rarely getting a hiding and I think this will be a typical Hull like performance, losing gallantly by the odd goal.

The goals have dried up a bit for Diego Costa but he’s still 7/2 to open the scoring in this one and he has to find the net after Golden Boot rival Harry Kane grabbed a hat-trick. I’m going to take Eden Hazard to open the scoring at 4/1 with BoyleSports; the Belgian International has scored every time he has faced the Tigers and he’s also a bet at 5/4 to score at anytime in the 90-minutes.

Seeley’s Selections:
Chelsea To Win To Nil @ 21/20
Correct Score: Chelsea 2-0 @ 5/1
Eden Hazard First Goalscorer @ 4/1 (8/1 Double Bubble)
