How far do you think Conte can take Tottenham this season?

“Antonio Conte is a winner. He’s done great business on the transfer window but it’ll be tough. Arsenal and Manchester United have both improved, however, you can’t take Tottenham out of the question when you have a winner like Conte.

“He’s been at the club a while now and spent some quality time with his players so they could be a dark horse for the Premier League title because he doesn’t settle for second best.”

Are Harry Kane, Son and Richarlison the best attack in the league?

“The front three that Tottenham now have is definitely up there as one of the best in the Premier League, but I don’t know if people can say the best, because Man City and Liverpool both still have a brilliant front-three.

“Harry Kane is still the best in the league as an out-and-out centre forward. We need to see how Erling Haaland performs, but Tottenham’s forward options are right up there with Son and Richarlison.

“Kane and Son are both great professionals, so they’ll help settle Richarlison. You can’t deny that Spurs are going to be exciting to watch business that Conte has done.”

Do you think Kane will retire at Tottenham and is that his best option?

“Retiring at Tottenham is a great option for Harry. It’s an incredible club, if he did end his career there, he would go down as one of the club’s all time legends.

“Tottenham are one of the very few clubs in the world where the players don’t have the power.

“The board and Daniel Levy hold the power. If Levy feels he should sell Kane, then he will, if he wants to keep him, he’ll do everything to keep him happy in his contract.

“I don’t think there is a bad choice for Harry.”

Can Tottenham challenge for the title this season?

“When a club has a manager like Antonio Conte and players that are used to winning they can do special things in a season.

“Tottenham definitely have an outside chance of winning the Premier League for sure.”

James Maddison has been linked, is he the last piece of the jigsaw for Spurs?

“James Maddison would be a fantastic addition to this Tottenham squad, I just don’t know his personality so it’s a wonder if he’ll fit in or not.

“It would be a really good signing – but I don’t know if he fits Tottenham’s full criteria.”

Do Spurs need to replace Hugo Lloris and think more long term?

“Hugo is a great professional and the club will be able to assess his fitness. Hugo could still have five or more years at the top barring any bad injuries.

“I expect to see Lloris performing at another very high level next season and I don’t expect the club will be looking for a replacement any time soon.”
