France v Ireland Betting Tips & Odds In Six Nations | Saturday 12th February

Ireland have been made marginal underdogs in the match betting for their crucial Six Nations clash with France this weekend as they seek to build on a strong start to the tournament following last weekend’s comprehensive victory over Wales.

Opening Win

Bundee Aki, Andrew Conway (twice) and Garry Ringrose all went over for Ireland as Andy Farrell’s men laid down an early marker in a one-sided affair in Dublin which saw the defending champions leave on the wrong end of a 29-7 scoreline.

One change has been forced upon Head Coach Farrell as fly-half Johnny Sexton misses the trip to Paris due to a hamstring injury sustained in training.

This allows Munster’s Joey Carberry to step up to the starting 15, while Leinster lock James Ryan takes the captain’s armband.

Their victory over Wales means Ireland are now on a nine-match winning run, although their last defeat came at the hands of France in last year’s Six Nations meaning the French have won the last two meetings between the sides.

Odds

Ireland will kick-off the 1/2 favourites in the betting with BoyleSports to make it three-in-a-row, while the Boys in Green are 7/4 shots to make it two-from-two at the beginning of their campaign with a big win in Paris.
