BoyleSports Pay Out On Waterford After Controversial Goal Awarded At Gaelic Grounds

BoyleSports have reacted to the controversial decision to award a goal in the Tipperary v Waterford game that saw it end in a 2-22 to 2-22 draw and are paying out on Waterford as the winners of the match.

Waterford were robbed of a triumph in their Munster SHC clash with Tipperary at the Gaelic Grounds after an umpire awarded Tipp a goal in the closing stages of the match that was undoubtedly not over the line.

As a gesture of goodwill Ireland’s largest independent bookmakers are paying out all winning Win-Draw-Win singles on pre-match bets placed on Waterford.

There was however an actual goal in the first 10 minutes of the match, when Tom Devine saw the back of the net for Waterford in the 9th minute, which saw BoyleSports’ customer’s availing of double winnings as a free bet.

The Double Winnings offer applies to all Championship hurling and football matches and ensures double winnings as a free bet if there is a goal in the first 10 minutes of the match.

We have taken action by paying out on Waterford as the rightful winners in their clash with Tipp on Sunday after what was a

ludicrous decision to award a goal that very clearly wasn’t over the line.

The controversial decision resulted in Gardaí escorting referee Alan Kelly and the umpires off the pitch as a result of the 2-22 to 2-22 draw that should never have been.

We have also paid out double winnings as a free bet as a result of Tom Devine’s goal in the 9th minute of the match, however the double winnings does not apply to the win draw win markets on Waterford that we paid out on as a goodwill gesture.
