Dubs Red Hot For Final As Tyrone Shorten To KO Kerry

The betting for this weekend’s All-Ireland SFC semi-finals suggests that Mayo would need a 6-point start to deny Dublin a place in their 5th consecutive final.

Jim Gavin’s men are still odds-on at 10/11 with a 5-point handicap and hot 1/4 favourites to end Mayo’s run on Saturday at Croke Park after the Westerners dashed Donegal’s All-Ireland hopes with a four-point victory in Castlebar at the weekend.

That saw their All-Ireland chances cut in half from 16/1 to 8/1 having last lifted Sam Maguire back in 1951,

but Dublin remain well clear at 2/5 in the outright betting.

Diarmuid Connolly is 12/1 to bag the first goal having made his return to action in the victory over Tyrone at Healy Park in Omagh.

Kerry are 5/6 favourites to book their place in the All-Ireland Final with victory over Tyrone in the second semi-final on Sunday, but their original quote of 8/11 has been eased after early support for Tyrone on Monday morning. Mickey Harte’s men are into 11/8 from 6/4 with a repeat of last year’s final increasingly fancied by punters.

An All-Ireland Final showdown between Dublin and Kerry is just a 5/4 shot with a Tyrone v Dublin decider at 6/4.
