Kerry Eased Out As Tyrone Edge League Clash

Dublin are stronger favourites to claim National League glory this season after their nearest market rivals Kerry went down to the first defeat of their campaign on Sunday.

The fixture list was reduced as Storm Ciara forced postponements around the country, but ten matches were given the green light on Sunday including Tyrone’s Division 1 clash with Kerry, which was moved to Edendork from a waterlogged Healy Park.

A Sean O’Shea free had Kerry within a point in injury time but the Red Hand men frantically held on to notch the second win of their campaign. Mickey Harte’s men are now 9/1 from 16/1 with BoyleSports to win their first league title since 2003 after they joined Dublin on four points at the top of the table.

Kerry on the other hand have been eased out to 7/2 from 11/4 as Peter Keane’s men now find themselves with only one victory from their opening three matches. All-Ireland champions Dublin closed into 10/11 from Even money despite needing a last gasp point to rescue a draw against Monaghan.

Galway are the third team on four points as they edged out Donegal in Letterkenny after the hosts missed two late opportunities to equalise from frees. The Tribesmen are into 11/2 from 10/1 with Donegal’s chances now rated at 14/1.
