Anthony Cunningham’s men turned the game around in the second half with a crucial goal from Diarmuid Murtagh being the final nail in the coffin, bringing the score to 1-13 to 0-12. Galway have now drifted out to 25/1 from 11/1 in the All-Ireland SFC outright.

It was a grim weekend for Galway fans as the hurlers lost out to Dublin and have been eliminated from the All-Ireland Senior Hurling competition.

Tipperary secured victory over the 2018 All-Ireland champions Limerick at Semple Stadium on Sunday with a 1-22 to 0-21 result for the Premier County.

The two sides meet again in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final with 10/11 available on both finalists. Limerick are now 15/8 joint favourites alongside Tipperary in the All-Ireland SHC outright, cut from 11/4.

Clare beat Cork in their clash but failed to finish in the top three of the Munster group table and have since been eliminated from the All-Ireland series with Cork eased out to 5/1 from 7/2.
