Triumphant Tipp Cut For Two In A Row In 2020

Tipperary’s ruthless All-Ireland Final performance has already seen them backed to win next year’s Championship as they revel in a 3-25 to 0-20 victory over Kilkenny at Croke Park.

There was only a solitary point between the sides as they left the field at half-time, but Tipperary turned the screw in the second half as they used their extra man to full advantage following Richie Hogan’s red card in the first half.

The speeches had barely been delivered at Croke Park before punters piled in on Liam Sheedy’s men going on to win a second consecutive All-Ireland title next year, a feat not achieved in the Premier County since 1965.

BoyleSports cut them into 4/1 from 11/2 within minutes of the final whistle but it’s Limerick, who relinquished their title with a slender 1-point semi-final defeat to Kilkenny, who remain the favourites despite drifting from 5/2 to 11/4. Galway have also been eased to 4/1 from 7/2 which makes them joint second favourites alongside Tipperary.

The celebratory mood down in Tipperary has really kicked in and we’re already seeing a deluge of support from the area for them to hold on to Liam MacCarthy next season too…

so much so that even the new price of 4/1 is under strain at this stage.
