Gemma Shakes Up Bushtucker Betting After Exit

Gemma Collins just couldn’t take it anymore and has quit I’m A Celebrity in just three days. After whingeing on about starving, saying a murderer would be treated better and then suspecting she had malaria, it will not come to a shock to anyone that the TOWIE star has made her exit from the jungle.

Gemma was the favourite to do the most Bushtucker trials but since her departure Jimmy Bullard has taken her spot as the 3/1 favourite. We have yet to see Tinchy Stryder take on his first Bushtucker trial but at 4/1 it is not expected to be his last. Craig Charles is also a 4/1 to do the most Bushtucker trials, with Kendra Wilkinson on offer at 5/1.

It’s a case of one out two in as X Factor reject Jake Quickenden and ex-Tory MP Edwina are set to join the crew at Croc Creek in the coming days. Jake fell short of the X Factor title and is not expected to do much better in the jungle at 20/1 to win. Edwina Currie famously blasted the show but it appears she has changed her mind. At 33/1 she’s a longshot for the crown.

It remains a two horse race in the Outright betting with Jimmy Bullard the heavily backed 3/1 favourite to win but the lovely Melanie Sykes is also popular with punters and is breathing down his neck at 5/2 to win.

It was a longshot that Gemma Collins was going to last the week in the jungle. Had she stuck around she was tipped to do the most Bushtucker trials so it is probably best she left. Jimmy Bullard is taking over as the new favourite for the most trials after his hilarious attempt on Monday.

Jake Quickenden and Edwina Currie are both set to enter the jungle and shake things up but at 20/1 and 33/1 respectively it doesn’t look like they will be any threat to favourite to win Jimmy.
