The anonymous customer struck the bet in a BoyleSports shop in the capital, placing a €10 each-way double on Keegan Bradley to win the Zozo Championship on the PGA Tour and Adrian Otaegui to win the Andalucía Masters on the DP World Tour.

It was four years without a victory for American Keegan Bradley, but the canny punter picked the right time to strike as the 25/1 shot carded a final round of 68 to beat Rickie Fowler by one stroke.

Spaniard Otaegui, backed at 45/1, had a much more comfortable win in Spain as he went into the final round with a six-shot lead and never looked like being caught as he also shot 68 on Sunday to seal the spectacular double.

The stunning prediction allowed the Dublin punter to return to the shop and swap their betslip for a whopping total of €12,560.
