Aidan O’Brien Backed To Win Oaks-Derby Double

Aidan O’Brien is a 7/2 shot to win both the Oaks and the Derby as he looks set to saddle SP favourites in both races this weekend.

Pink Dogwood is the 2/1 favourite ahead of Friday’s Oaks after winning her reappearance at Navan a month ago, with John Gosden’s filly Mehdaayih her main danger in the market at 3/1 to follow up her Cheshire Oaks victory at Chester earlier this month.

Sir Dragonet meanwhile was backed into 11/4 from 3/1 on Thursday morning after a final field of 13 was declared for Saturday’s Derby.

Derrinstown winner Broome at 4/1 means O’Brien has the leading pair in the market with Hughie Morrison’s Dante winner Telecaster backed into 5/1 third favourite from 6/1 after being supplemented earlier in the week.
