Cork Punter Cleans Up Over €17,000 On UK Horse Racing Results

The festive spirit will be starting early for one punter in Co Cork after their €3 four-fold, €20 double, treble and €5 each way accumulator triggered a mammoth payout on racing results at Hexham, Warwick and Chepstow.

The anonymous customer popped into a local BoyleSports shop in the county on Wednesday and selected the same five horses for four separate bets amounting to a stake of €65.

The first winner came at Warwick in the 1.35 race as Winter Getaway obliged at 9/2. The remaining four winners were Good And Hardy (3/1) and Lock’s Corner (2/1) at Chepstow, Flinck (11/4) at Warwick and Casimir Du Clos (6/1) at Hexham.

The €3 four-fold returned a total of €6,105.38, the €20 double won €422.25, the €20 treble returned €1,874 while the €5 each way accumulator resulted in a stunning amount of €8,755.08. In total, the Cork player won a jaw-dropping sum of €17,166.71 from a stake of €65.
