Cue Card Eased As Thistlecrack Hardens For King George

The anticipated clash between stablemates Cue Card and Thistlecrack in the King George at Kempton on December 26th remains on course after both horses along with five others have been confirmed.

Cue Card remains favourite to retain the crown but has been eased out to 5/4 from 4/5 after a surge of support for Thistlecrack who is now 11/8 having been available at 3/1 on Sunday evening.

Tea For Two is next in the betting at 12/1 alongside the supplemented Nicky Henderson trained Josses Hill.

2015 Gold Cup third, Road To Riches is priced at 25/1 alongside two time winner Silviniaco Conti whilst the Gordon Elliott trained Roi Des Francs is the 50/1 outsider.

We are seeing support for both Cue Card and Thistlecrack at the head of the betting with both horses proving the worst results for the firm at present.

Following the withdrawal of Coneygree on Sunday, Cue Card touched 4/5 but he has now been eased back out to 5/4 after support came in for his stablemate, Thistlecrack who is now 11/8 having been available at 3/1 on Sunday.
