€100 IIJF Donation For Every Winner AP McCoy Rides

To celebrate the impending retirement of the champion AP McCoy, we have kindly decided to donate €100 for every winner he rides from Friday 13th February until the end of the season.

There is no doubt AP will be doing his best to ride as many winners in England and Ireland as he possibly can. The Irish Injured Jockeys Fund will be the main benefactor thanks to the generosity of Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker.

Barry Geraghty commented “As a director of IIJF I am thrilled to hear of this fundraising initiative that BoyleSports have introduced today, it has the potential to raise a lot of funds for our injured riders. Needless to say as a jockey I won’t be making it any easier for AP, he’s going to have to earn it.”

Alan Reilly, Head of Horse Racing at BoyleSports, commented “AP has been such an iconic figure within our sport but such has been his achievements that he is now widely recognised as an icon across the entire sporting spectrum. Unquestionably he is racings greatest ambassador”.

He added “As a token of our appreciation of what AP has brought and continues to bring to our sport we felt that by making a contribution to the IIJF for every winner he rides would be a fitting contribution to a cause that is very close to anyone who is fortunate enough to be involved in this industry”.
