Flawless Fav Can Post Win For Varian

Aidan O’Brien made his mark at Epsom yesterday with Minding in the Oaks and will bid to do so again with Found (11/4) in the Coronation Cup on Saturday.

All In Postponed
But she hasn’t seemed to regain the form that saw her beat Golden Horn in the Breeders’ Cup last year. On Irish Guineas weekend she went down to Fascinating Rock fair and square at the Curragh and the ground is probably not just ideal for her at Epsom so Postponed is picked to justify favouritism at a shade of odds on.

The 10/11 favourite was pretty flawless on his last few runs for Luca Cumani and he picked up where he left off since joining Roger Varian and although you won’t get rich at 10/11, he looks the obvious winner after a successful stint in Dubai earlier this year.

Over To The Curragh
Irish racing’s HQ stages a tricky card on Saturday but one horse that stood out was Michael O’Callaghan’s Atlas who looks to be off a winnable mark.

Johnny Murtagh’s Newsman comes into the race on the back of a decent effort on Guineas weekend and will be hard to beat but…

…Atlas ran nicely in a Killarney maiden in which Monarch was second and has since won although he’s not the most straightforward.

The winner of that maiden, St Gallen, steps up to listed company for the Silver Stakes on the same card and if he was to win that would actually get a free entry for the Irish Derby so a big run from him would give Atlas a fair form boost for later in the card.

Recommended Bets:
Postponed – 3.10 Epsom
Atlas – 7.00 Curragh
