Galway Races Day 2 Betting Tips – Niall Cronin

At Galway, Mullins can land the feature race for the second night in a row following Whiskey Sour’s victory on Monday.

Mullins has the Light
Riven Light (5/1) drops in trip for the Galway Mile but that could very much suit the free going son of Raven’s Pass.

Mullins would be more renowned for his exploits on the flat over longer distances but this Mile at Galway will take a bit of getting this evening and the horse did have some form in France over the trip and should be able to go very close under Declan McDonogh off a rating which still could prove a bit kind.

Fourth time for Beau
Course winners at Galway have a habit of coming back and thriving at the track and Aido McGuinness’ Beau Satchel (9/2) is one of them and he can notch up a fourth course and distance win in the finale this evening.

He showed promise early in the season and the ground should be ideal for him so if recapturing that spark at Galway he can run a big race off a mark which is lower than his previous wins here.
