Winter

Glorious Goodwood 2017 Day 3 Betting Tips – Niall Cronin

Yesterday’s television pictures from Goodwood looked anything but glorious and were winter-esque.

Winter Strikes At Goodwood
The real Winter can arrive today in the Nassau Stakes.

So bad were the conditions that Aidan O’Brien didn’t want to chance Churchill against Ribchester and that could have been a good move looking at how the race panned out. However, Winter is a filly that doesn’t seem like she’ll be too inconvenienced by the ground and…

if allowed take her chance she can continue her winning streak in Group 1 company.

A lot of this will depend on what is allowed to run as it looked a cracking race at declaration stage, but it is sure to have a different outlook come post time and hopefully Winter doesn’t become too short a price.

Moore Joy For Ryan
Addeybb has only raced three times but goes into his second handicap today with a massive chance. William Haggas’ charge ran a grand race on debut on soft ground before winning at Haydock on good to soft and scoring on his handicap debut at Ascot last month.

With the ground looking unlikely to be a factor for him, and a lovely weight with just 8st12lbs…

Addeybb would look more than capable of taking advantage of his more experienced rivals.

Recommended Bets:
Addeybb (4/1) – 1.50 Goodwood
Winter (5/4) – 3.35 Goodwood
