Godolphin’s Brave Buy The Pick Of The Jury

Hugo Palmer was out of luck on his trip to the Curragh last weekend as Galileo Gold had to settle for second behind Kevin Prendergast’s Awtaad but tomorrow he looks to have two real good chances at Haydock.

In the Jury Stakes at 3.10 on Saturday, Home Of The Brave is Palmer’s representative and he will carry different colours to when making a winning seasonal debut at Leicester last month.

Godolphin have bought the four-year-old who did win at the Curragh last season but did subsequently lose the race but they could go some way to getting a return on that investment in this Group 3.

Home Of The Brave is now a 3/1 shot with BoyleSports and could be up to winning bigger pots than this later in the season.

The likes of Adaay and Breton Rock have Group 1 form but Home Of The Brave looks to be more progressive and seven-furlongs looks his ideal trip and the trainer has his horses in good form.
