There were massive celebrations in Dublin on Friday afternoon as one punter collected a sensational amount of €27,648.62 from a €20 stake.

The anonymous punter called into their local BoyleSports shop and placed a €2.50 each way accumulator and a €1 Lucky 15 on four horses at Epsom.

The ambitious bet started off with Gossiping landing the 2.35 Mile Handicap for Gary Moore and Andrea Atzeni at 9/1 for our customer. Thirty-five minutes later Andrea Atzeni rode Defoe to success at a handsome price of 14/1 on the betting slip with the horse returning at 11/1.

The striking bet was halfway there now with Andrea Atzeni completing a quick-fire treble on the day at Epsom when he won on Mountain Angel in the 3.45 race. Our punter placed the bet early getting 7/2 with the Roger Varian trained winner returning at 11/4.
