Jack 6/1 Too Quick For His Galway Hurdle Rivals

Galway Hurdle

Outright Betting

BoyleSports has installed the Tony Martin trained Quick Jack as the 6/1 favourite ahead of the Galway Hurdle which takes place Thursday week at the Ballybrit track.

Hidden Cyclone, who won his prep race on the flat at Leopardstown, is next in the betting at 8/1 to win over the smaller obstacles for trainer John “Shark” Hanlon whilst Westener Boy is next in the betting at 10/1 for trainer Pat Fahy.

Willie Mullins’ Royal Ascot winner Clondaw Warrior is priced at 12/1 alongside stable mate Diakali and another Tony Martin trained horse, Savello.

BoyleSports Hurdle winner Katie T can be backed at 14/1 to land another valuable hurdle race for Curragh based trainer Kevin Prendergast whilst last year’s winner Thomas Edison is also on offer at 14/1 to win back to back races.

Tony Martin’s Quick Jack is the deserved early 6/1 favourite whilst we expect Hidden Cyclone to be there or thereabouts, too.

No doubt in the coming days we will see plenty of gambles start in what looks set to be a thrilling renewal of the Galway Hurdle.
