Laurina New Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle Cheltenham Favourite

Laurina has been backed into the 5/4 favourite for the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham following a string of support on Wednesday.

Punters began to latch on to the unbeaten Willie Mullins five-year-old at 7/4 resulting in us cutting her into 6/4.

That also proved to be too big as it was quickly snapped up also and sees her now stand at 5/4.

Nicky Henerson’s JCB Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle hero, Apple’s Shakira is next as the 4/1 second favourite.

Maria’s Benefit has been eased out to 6/1 from 5/1 after an injury setback has resulted in the Stuart Edmunds-trained six-year-old missing out on some crucial work.
