Min Is Keen But Still The One To Beat

It was a good day for the yard on Sunday at Fairyhouse. We scored a treble with Tocororo, Myztique and Sutton Place all winning and it was nice to get a few winners.

Fairyhouse
The bumper horse Sutton Place looks like a good horse in the making, and is one for the future as he jumps and stays well too. He’ll run somewhere before the end of the season, I just need to decide where. Regardless he won’t see too much action again this year, he’ll be one to watch out for next year though.

Min
Min was impressive when winning the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at Punchestown on Saturday.

My only concern over him would be that he seems a bit keen and that looked the case on Saturday.

I have no doubt that he’ll settle better in a better race though and he still looked very good so he remains the horse we all have to beat at the minute for the Supreme Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Plans
I was asked about the all weather action recently and I do keep an eye on it, we have horses everywhere. We have four or five going to Wolverhampton this weekend and also have a few at Dundalk.

As for the jumps, we have five or six entries at Warwick at the weekend including Roi Du Mee, Captain Von Trappe and others in the staying chase. I’m not sure if we’ll run anything but I’ll know more whenever I see the weights. I have a bit of a backlog of horses to run and with not much racing on at the minute I could do with a bit more!
