Nicholls Up Against It In Trainer Battle

Paul Nicholls opened up his Ditcheat stables to the media on Wednesday showcasing his Cheltenham Festival credentials and we have priced up some specials on the four time Gold Cup winning trainer.

Nicholls is 20/1 to be top trainer at this year’s festival whilst he is 11/10 to saddle more winners at Prestbury Park over the four days than Nicky Henderson, who is priced at 4/6 in the match bet.

Nicholls is also matched up against Gordon Elliott and is priced at Evens to saddle more festival winners than the County Meath trainer who is odds on at 8/11.

Paul Nicholls last won the top trainer crown at Cheltenham in 2009 and faces tough competition to wrestle it back with heavy odds-on favourite Willie Mullins sending such a strong team to the festival this year.
