Pique Sous Early Fav To Get Over Galway Hurdle

Galway Hurdle

Outright Betting

We have priced up the Galway Hurdle following the weights release on Monday with the Willie Mullins trained Pique Sous installed as the 4/1 favourite.

Pique Sous was last seen landing the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot and

our traders have already reported interest in the Willie Mullins trained seven year old at 4/1 having only priced up the race on Monday afternoon.

Tony Martin has never won the Galway Hurdle but holds a strong chance with Quick Jack who is currently priced at 8/1 to win at the Ballybrit track. Quick Jack was last seen finishing third to Gilgamboa in the Boylesports.com Hurdle at Leopardstown back in January.

Gordon Elliott’s Bayan recently recorded a flat win at Leopardstown and is 10/1 to follow up his win in the valuable hurdle next week whilst the Aidan O’Brien trained Plinth is priced at 12/1 alongside Stocktons Wing and Desertmore Stream.

Dermot Weld who is no stranger at having winners at Ballybrit is likely to saddle Hisaabaat who is priced at 16/1 to improve on his fifth place in the race last year.
