Punters Hoping For Tiger Roll Show At BoyleSports Irish Grand National

The weights for the 2021 BoyleSports Irish Grand National were revealed on Monday with punters showing early support for Tiger Roll, Coko Beach, Agusta Gold, Run Wild Fred and Moyhenna.

There is optimism from punters that the dual Grand National hero Tiger Roll will run in the Fairyhouse spectacle and miss the ferry to Liverpool.

The 11-year-old, who was taken out of the English version last month, was back to his best when winning a third Glenfarclas Chase and securing a fifth Cheltenham Festival victory at Prestbury Park last Wednesday.

While he won’t bid for a historic third win at Aintree, his owners Gigginstown House Stud, are toying with heading to Aintree for the Bowl Chase on April 8th but BoyleSports have trimmed the Irish star into 12/1 from 14/1 following support that he will run during the Easter Festival.

Willie Mullins’ new recruit Agusta Gold has attracted support with her odds now at 20/1 from 33/1 while the 2021 Thyestes winner Coko Beach trained by Denise Foster is very popular at 12/1 from 20/1.

Denis Hogan’s Moyhenna is 20/1 from 33/1 and another of Denise Foster’s runners, Run Wild Fred, is 10/1 from 14/1 meaning there is a five-way tie for favouritism for Irelands richest race in the National Hunt calendar.

Horse racing fans want to see Tiger Roll on home soil and run in the BoyleSports Irish Grand National instead of heading to Aintree.
