Tenner Flutter In Kerry Turns Into Four-Figure Windfall

A horse racing punter in County Kerry is toasting their horse racing knowledge this week after a quick flutter turned into a massive win within the space of a couple of hours.

The anonymous punter placed their bet in a BoyleSports shop in the county on Monday, picking horses in the last four races at the evening meeting at Newcastle and putting them into a €5 each-way accumulator.

The highest price horse got the wager off and running by winning the 6.45 having been picked out at 12/1.

Blazing Dreams (7/2) and Martineo (11/4) hit the winning post in the next two races, leaving the customer with a massive sweat in the 8.15.

The pressure fell on the back of 7/1 selection Bugler Bob but he got up by ¾ of a length to send the expectant punter into dreamland. The stunning run of results meant the €10 betslip was now worth a spectacular €8,901.48.
