Three Horses Net Dublin Racing Punter Over €5,000 After Nail-Biting Wait

A horse racing punter in Dublin was popping the celebratory champagne on Saturday after a lunchtime gamble on three horses landed them a staggering sum.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed a €10 Treble, totalling €20, and €10 Doubles, totalling €30, on the same three selections; Siruh Du Lac at 5/1 in the 13.50 and Paisley Park at 9/2 in the 15.35, both at Cheltenham, and Cesar Et Rosalie at 8/1 in the 14.15 at Uttoxeter.

Their bet got off to a thrilling start when Siruh Du Lac claimed what is being hailed as the biggest win of his career

He landed the Spectra Cyber Security Trophy Handicap Chase by just a head, securing a hat-rick of wins as a result.

The punters nerves were shaken further when Cesar Et Rosalie raced home to a victory in the Rise Bespoke Foods Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase at 14.15 Uttoxeter by one length.

Paisley Park completed the line up with a routine win by 12 lengths in the 15.35 galliardhomes.com Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham.

The Treble saw an initial return of €3,068.80 with the Doubles paying €1,365 when all three horses won their respective races.

However as Siruh Du Lac won at the greater odds of 6/1, our best odds guarantee came into play and secured the customer an extra €504.88 for the Treble and added €145 for the Doubles. As a result, their total windfalls were €3573.68 for the Treble and €1,510 for the Doubles, seeing a grand total payout of €5,083.68.
