HOW TO BET ON THE IRISH LOTTO AT BOYLESPORTS

Go To The Irish Lotto Page On The BoyleSports App/Website

The first thing you’ll need to do to bet on the Irish Lotto at BoyleSports is to go to the Irish Lotto page on our app/website. You can click HERE to bring you to that page.

If you are using the BoyleSports app then you can tap down in the bottom right hand corner of the homepage, as indicated in the below screenshot.

Then tap where it says ‘LOTTO’ as you can see below.

This will bring you to BoyleSports Lotto where you can bet on 12 lotto draws from around the world! Go ahead and tap on the Irish Lotto tab as shown below and then you are ready to start creating your Irish Lotto bets.

SELECT THE NUMBERS YOU WANT TO PLAY

The next step is picking the numbers you think will be drawn in the Irish Lotto. You can bet on as little as one number or as many as five numbers.

Here is a list of the great Irish Lotto odds that you can avail of at BoyleSports.

For this example we are going to pick three numbers. To select a number simply tap/click on it.

Seven is my lucky number so I’m going to pick 7, 17 and 27. You can of course pick which ever numbers you prefer when making your own bet.

If you aren’t sure what numbers you want to pick then you can try your luck with a quickpick. Tap on one of the quickpick boxes on your screen that you can see highlighted below.

We are going to go with a 3-number quickpick for this example but you can also choose a 4-number or 5-number quickpick depending on which you prefer.

When we tap the quickpick box it chooses three numbers at random for us. In this case it has given us 2, 23 and 33. If you don’t like the numbers that the quickpick gives you then you can just clear them and try it again until you’re happy with the numbers you have.

CHOOSE WHICH DRAW(S) YOU WANT TO BET ON

We’re almost there! There are three draws you can bet on for the Irish Lotto. The ‘Main’, ‘Plus 1’ and ‘Plus 2’. All these draws have balls numbered from 1-47 that will be randomly selected and the odds are the same for all of the draws.

It’s most common for people to bet on all three draws or just the ‘Main’ draw but you can bet on whichever draws you would like.

I’m going to go with all three draws for both Saturday and Wednesday to improve my chances of getting a winner!

CHOOSE YOUR STAKE AND IF YOU WANT TO INCLUDE THE BONUS BALL

Next you will enter what stake we want to put on your Irish Lotto bet. I’m going to go with a €/£1 stake for my bet.

This €/£1 stake will make the total bet cost equal €/£6 as we are betting on six draws. 

We also have the option of including the bonus ball which is the final ball drawn in the lotto draws.

This time I’m not going to include the bonus ball but it’s definitely worth considering as there are great odds of 400/1 if you do include it with a slightly better chance of a winning bet too!

With our €/£6 stake we could win as much as €/£4,206 and if our three numbers come up in just one of the draws we would win €/£701!

ADD TO BETSLIP AND PLACE YOUR BET

Then check your betslip to make sure that you’ve included the numbers you want on it and confirm the bet!

Irish Lottery Rules

The Irish Lottery is based on the official Irish lottery draw which takes place every Wednesday and Saturday.

The draw takes place every Wednesday and Saturday night at 20:00 and bets can be placed up until 19:50.

6 balls are drawn from a total of 47; customers can bet on up to 5 numbers drawn from the 47.

Customers also have the option to bet on the seven number draw ie including the bonus ball. There are three draws on each of these evenings. Bets marked 1st Draw or Draw 1 will be settled on the Main Draw. Bets marked 2nd Draw or Draw 2 will be settled on Lotto Plus 1 and bets marked 3rd Draw or Draw 3 will be settled on Lotto Plus 2.

Lucky Numbers in Patents, Yankees, Lucky 15’s, Super Yankees, Union Jack, Lucky 31’s are accepted. However, no bonuses or consolation dividends or bonus odds will apply on any of the above type bets.

In the event of a double draw, all bets will automatically be settled on the first draw unless otherwise clearly specified on the customer’s docket/coupon. A customer wishing to bet on both draws must pay for both draws

All lottery bets are settled based on the official draw of the Irish lotto draw.

The maximum pay-out to any one customer, on any bet or series of bets emanating from the same source in respect of any one bet will be as follows: EuroMillions Match 5 numbers €500,000, Irish, UK and all other Euro Millions draws €250,000, 49’s €100,000 and all other lotteries €50,000
