Ivawood Shortened For Guineas After Newbury Win

We’ve cut the Richard Hannon trained Ivawood into 6/1 from 8/1 for next year’s 2000 Guineas following the victory of Belardo in the Listed Washington Stakes at Newbury.

Ivawood beat Belardo by three and a half lengths back in July at Newmarket and as a result, the form has been franked which has resulted in cutting Ivawood into 6/1 clear favourite for next year’s Newmarket showpiece.

Our traders were very impressed by the winning performance of Belardo at Newbury and have therefore reacted and cut Ivawood into 6/1 from 8/1. At present Ivawood is by far our worst result in the 2000 Guineas Antepost book having initially been installed at 16/1 for the race back in July.
