Kayleigh Marie Morgan Rivals Caitlyn Vanbeck for X Factor Favouritism

X Factor 2016

Outright Betting

Things are beginning to heat up in the X Factor betting as favourite to win Caitlyn Vanbeck has a new competitor breathing down her neck.

Kayleigh Marie Morgan blew the judges away with her emotional and pitch perfect rendition of With You from Ghost the musical. The 19-year-old student almost clinched favouritism when she went into the betting at 6/1, but early favourite Caitlyn was nipped into 11/2 giving her the ever so slight edge in the betting.

Janet Grogan has returned to fly the flag for Ireland on the X Factor after being sent home in the six chair challenge by Simon Cowell in 2014. The Dubliner is priced at 12/1, alongside James Hughes, to go all the way second time round.

Matt Terry is another new hopeful that is one to watch as he goes into the betting at 9/1 following his rendition of Stand By Me. Freddy Parker and Channel Benjilai were also successful in their auditions and are on offer at 14/1 and 25/1 to win respectively.

Couple Tom and Laura also made it to bootcamp after their take of Kings of Leon’s Sex on Fire showcased their dulcet tones and they can be backed at 20/1 to win.

Of the more wacky auditionees, Sada Vidoo, who claims she is a doll, gave a surprisingly good audition and got a yes from the four judges, however at 25/1 to win, the X Factor may not be entirely ready for this doll.

Kayleigh Marie Morgan touched everyone with her beautiful rendition of With You and is a red hot contender for the title already at 6/1 with Caitlyn Vanbeck just holding onto the top spot in the betting after shortening into 11/2 from 6/1.

It may only be week two, but already there is a two horse race for the title.

Janet Grogan has brushed off her devastating 2014 X Factor exit and returned to wow the judges once again. Of the Irish hopefuls currently through to bootcamp she is the shortest of the bunch at 12/1 to win and will not doubt see some patriotic support in the coming days.
