Lucky 15 & Each-Way Acca Lands Massive Horse Racing Betting Win

A horse racing punter in County Cork is celebrating a significant win after an ambitious bet paid off in the shape of a stunning four-figure payout.

The anonymous winner struck the wager on their BoyleSports account on Tuesday and picked out four horses all running at Newcastle for a €3 Lucky 15, meaning they parted with stakes totalling €45.

The road to riches started with 10/3 shot Award Dancer in the 6.35, while subsequent victories for Sporting Hero (4/5) and Lupset Flossy Pop (10/1) left them just one winner short of the jackpot.

All eyes then turned to the 8.05 race where 12/1 shot Rhythm completed the winning streak with a victory by 1¼ lengths.

That margin made it four winners on the trot and allowed the lucky winner to log back in to see a mega total of €8,598.30 added to their balance.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “We have to send huge congratulations to our County Cork customer who ended up with nearly €8,600 in their account. Picking four winners in a row isn’t easy, so they deserve every cent and we hope they revel in the celebrations.”

There was also a big win for another BoyleSports customer in neighbouring county Kerry. The Kingdom Horse Racing punter is counting the cash this week after landing a four-figure windfall…despite picking out four horses which were all beaten.

The anonymous customer invested just €2 in their Tuesday flutter by placing a €1 each-way accumulator in a BoyleSports shop on four horses running at Punchestown.

None of the four horses crossed the line first, but the each-way part of their bet looked set to pay off handsomely when Typical Thomas (80/1), Arcland (33/1) and General Clermont (28/1) all overcame their hefty odds to run into the places.

The fourth and final selection Paddy Wickla needed to finish in the top three in the 4.40 to secure a return and the 25/1 pick obliged by finishing third, allowing the canny customer to return to the shop to collect a healthy payout totalling €5,171.04.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Huge congratulations to our Kerry customer on their savvy bet because they didn’t even need one winner to scoop a significant amount of cash. Despite some big prices their horses were good enough to finish in the places, so fair play to them for picking them out and we wish them happy spending.”
